NEW DELHI, October 13: A stroke-filled 98 by Sumit Beri (98: 7×4, 5×6, 68 balls) and a fine spell of bowling by Sumit (4 for 32) helped Kalgidhar Khalsa beat hosts Cambridge Foundation (Rajouri Garden) by 52 runs to enter the final of the Radha Kishan memorial cricket tournament today.

They will meet Salwan Boys in the final on Wednesday.

Brief Scores: Kalgidhar Khalsa: 206 for 9 in 30 overs (Sumit Beri 98, Pushkar 34, Tiwari 2 for 38) beat Cambridge Foundation: 154 in 26 overs (Vijay Bhola 39, Lovkesh Sehgal 38, Rajat 28, Sumit 4 for 32, Mukesh Saini 2 for 32).

Title for Bal Bhavan
Bal Bhavan Public School, Mayur Vihar Phase 2 won the sub-junior girls kho-kho title of zone 2 district East when they defeated Government Girls Senior Secondary School, West Vinod Nagar 6-2, 7-1. Deepika, Meenakshi, Subhangi and Archana played well for the winners to earn the title.

CBSE Volleyball
Rainbow Public School defeated St Mudgred (Preet Vihar) 12-15, 15-10, 15-11 on the opening day of the inaugural CBSE North Zone cluster 10 inter-school volleyball tournament at Bal Bharati Public School, Ganga Ram Hospital Marg.

In other matches, Bal Bhawan beat Adarsh Public School 15-5, 15-0, Gagan Bharati Public School downed GTB School (Mansarover Garden) 15-3, 15-8; Mamta Model School scored a 15-9, 15-1 win over Lawrence Public School (Janak Puri) and National Public School beat Guru Nanak Public School 15-9, 15-9.

Outlook triumph
In a low-scoring match, Outlook defeated P and O Travels India by 51 runs in the second Dattu Phadkar memorial tournament.
