Angered over the delay in the formation of the interim cabinet and the deadly clashes in the Terai region, the Maoists have demanded the dissolution of the government. In one of the most critical remarks against Prime Minister G P Koirala, Maoist leader Dev Gurung said Koirala8217;s leadership is no longer going to be accepted easily by the party.

Blaming the Koirala-led Congress party for obstructing the quick formation of interim cabinet, he warned that Maoist MPs will not allow the parliament to run unless Koirala steps down to form an interim government.
