PERTH, FEB 4: The International Cricket Council8217;s ICC handling of the Shoaib Akhtar affair was a 8220;joke8221;, Australian fast bowling legend Dennis Lillee said.

Writing in his weekly column for the West Australian newspaper, Lillee said the ICC should allow umpires to determine the legitimacy of bowlers8217; actions rather than referring suspicions back to the council.
