Ashish Nehra was the pick of the Indian bowlers claiming four wickets for 27 runs from his quota of 10 overs. Ajit Agarkar, Zaheer Khan and Virender Sehwag claimed one wicket apiece.
Earlier, Rahul Dravid led the Indian team as skipper Sourav Ganguly preferred to take rest having just recovered from a viral fever.
Ganguly participated in the net session this morning but at a team management meeting, it was decided to give him rest, manager Rajeev Shukla said. Dravid also kept wickets in the match. VVS Laxman came in place of Ganguly in the side.
This is the first of the three warm-up games India will play in the run-up to the triangular One-day series with England and Sri Lanka starting on June 27.
