Goodlass Nerolac Paints Ltd GNPL has registered a 59 per cent increase in its net profit for the financial year ended March 31, 2005 at Rs 91.96 crore compared to Rs 57.96 crore last fiscal. The company has recommended a dividend of 115 per cent on the enhanced capital compared to 125 per cent of the previous year, the company said today.

Sterling net profit at Rs 24.54 crore

Sterling Biotech Ltd today posted a net profit of Rs 24.54 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2005 compared to Rs 15.03 crore in the corresponding quarter in 2003-04. Total income has increased to Rs 80.22 crore against Rs 110.65 crore in the year-ago period, the company informed the BSE.

Monnet net up 337

Monnet Ispat today reported a growth of 337 per cent in net profit at Rs 123.83 crore for the financial year ending March 31, 2005. Announcing the financial results for 2004-05, company Executive Vice- Chairman and Managing Director, Sandeep Jajodia said its board had approved a dividend of 35 per cent, taking the total dividend for the fiscal to 60 per cent.

GMDC net rises 24

Gujarat Mineral Development Corporation Ltd GMDC has posted 24 per cent growth in net profit at Rs 100.50 crore for the year ended March 31, 2005 compared to Rs 80.95 crore for 2003-04. Total income grew to Rs 378.85 crore in the reporting fiscal against Rs 288.98 crore in FY-04, it informed the BSE. 8212;PTI
