380 kg copper stolen from workshop

A workshop near Kondhwa was robbed of 380 kg of copper worth Rs 1.92 lakh on Friday. Rahul Vaidya,the owner of the workshop,registered a complaint with the Haveli police. Before entering the workshop,the suspects allegedly tied security guard Muralidhar Mane with a rope and then ran away with the loot. When Mane’s son came to the workshop in the morning,he saw his father tied near a water tank in the workshop,sub inspector M K Patil of Haveli police said. Mane told the police that four persons who entered the workshop in the early hours threatened to kill him,tied him up and looted copper.
