Only Didi understands Hills’ problems: GJM

The Gorkha Janmukti Morcha on Wednesday thanked Railway Minister Mamata Banerjee for “highlighting the problems of Darjeeling” to Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and said that it was the Trinamool Congress chief among all the politicians who really “understood the problems of the people of the Hills”. The central committee of the GJM met in Darjeeling to chalk out its strategy for the October 11 tripartite talks scheduled to be held in New Delhi. On Tuesday,Banerjee met the prime minister with her demand of a special package for Darjeeling.
