Help held for harassing employer

A 20-year-old domestic help was arrested on Saturday on charges of outraging a woman’s modesty,cheating,forgery and obscenity. The incident was reported from South Delhi’s Safdarujung Enclave area.

According to police,the accused,Sunil Yadav started working at a businessman’s house three years ago. In the first week of November,he asked his employer to lend him Rs 50,000. The employer offered him Rs 25,000. “This enraged the help and he began troubling his employers. According to the complaint,the accused called the employer’s wife and harassed her,” a police officer said.

Yadav kept calling the woman from different numbers. Police traced the calls to the complainant’s house.

According to police,Yadav was also involved in supplying SIM cards using forged documents. A case was registered against him and further investigation is on,police said.
