Tulsi to represent CBI

Senior Supreme Court lawyer K T S Tulsi has been drafted by the CBI to argue the case against the accused,including former Gujarat minister of state for home Amit Shah,in the 2005 Sohrabuddin Sheikh encounter case. Incidentally,till 2007,Tulsi was representing the Narendra Modi-led Gujarat government in the case in the Supreme Court. He withdrew from the case after Modis controversial speech at a rally in which the Chief Minister justified Sohrabuddins killing. Tulsi,it is learnt,has already drafted a status report in the case that the probe agency is filing in the Supreme Court Registry on Friday.
