No gap between papers triggers panic among Class XII students
The Central Board of Secondary Education declared the datesheet for both Class X and XII Board examinations on Friday. The exams are scheduled to begin at 10.30 am.
Students will be given an extra 15 minutes to go through the question paper. They will, however, not be allowed write answers during this time.
Exams for both Class X and XII begin on March 2. The datesheet for Class XII has already spread panic among the students since it shows consecutive exams without a break.
Anushka, a student of Class XII at GMSSS, Sector 18, whose Fashion Studies and History exams fall on consecutive days said: 8220;The datesheet is not up to the mark. There should have been at least a gap of a day between two exams.8221;
Sharing similar views were many other students who stated that a one-day gap is a must between exams.
Principal of KBDAV School, Sector 7, Madhu Bahl said: 8220;The pattern of examination has been changed and now the paper constitutes more of objective type questions. The students, therefore, have no reason to complain. Also, students should be well prepared by the time of the exams.8221;
