ION Exchange to open 600 outlets

ION Exchange (India) Ltd,manufacturers of water purifiers for their Zero B line of products,has ramped up its distribution and retail network with over 600 outlets and an administrative office in the city to cater to the growing needs of neighbouring cites like Sangli,Kolhapur,Satara among others.

The Zero B products are also available from local Hindustan Petroleum gas distributors.

Ramesh Rath,vice-president,home water solutions,Ion Exchange (India),said,Pune is a critical market for us and we are making a sizeable investment both in terms of people,distribution,service centres and promotion to tap the potential. At Ion Exchange,we do not view water purifiers as yet another consumer durable,but as a solution to provide a healthier way of living. He said water in each part of the city can be different with a different set of impurities.

So specific solutions are needed,for which the company has customised its products as per the needs of individual customers
