HC allows Bigg Boss shoot to continue

The Bombay High Court on Friday allowed the shoot of reality show Bigg Boss to continue in Lonavala. On Thursday,the Lonavala Municipal Council had asked the show’s producers to stop shooting immediately on grounds that they did not have permission to build the set spread over more than 2 acres.

Viacom 18 had moved court seeking a stay on the notice. Viacom 18 argued that even if the LMC took the stand that the shooting area was illegal or in violation of certain norms,they should have been given sufficient notice before being asked to stop shooting. The court granted a status quo for a week by which time the LMC is likely to file an affidavit.
