After teaming up with Ashvin Gidwani Productions (AGP) for plays such as Walking on Broken Das and History of India,Vir Das has joined hands with the production house again for Battle of Da Sexes. The play focuses on the science behind the age-long struggle between men and women. It will premiere at the National Centre for the Performing Arts on September 7. Gidwani says that the show will appeal to the younger generation because of its theme and innovative content. Das is the founder of Weirdass Comedy,a comedy consultancy service. Having written the play History of India,he jokes that after history,its time to move on to chemistry. The show is based on scientific facts,which will give you a different perspective on your respective other. It is close to my heart since Ive written the script after a lot of research and experimentation, he says.
