There were contributions all around as Ravindra Academy crushed Uday Bhan Cricket Academy by 162 runs to enter the final of the 3rd Unity Group U-17 cricket tournament at Ashok Vihar ground. Vivek Rana (68) and Vivek Bhatu (52) scored half centuries,while Vineet Kumar (4/22) and Anuj Rai (2/10) were among the wickets. Kandwil came through with a fine all round display scoring 42 and taking 2/12.

Siddharth slams ton

Aided by Siddharth Singh’s 106,Gyan Bharti South Delhi Academy crushed JD Tytler by 81 runs to get four points in the 1st Bhagwan Parsuram cricket tournament at Ryan International School,Rohini. Pushpkant (44) also scored while Chirag Mendiratta took 4/20. Siddharth Singh also took 2 wickets for 11 runs

Arjun snares five

Arjun Yadav was deadly with the ball snaring five wickets for 21,while Sagar Sehrawat (92) narrowly missed out on a century as Choudhary XI beat Delhi Cricket Club by 8 wickets to get four points in the 9th Parmarth U-16 cricket tournament at Parmarth cricket ground. Sagar also took 2/18 to cap a fine all round performance.

Tehlan ton in vain

Sandeep Tehlan smashed a fine century (115) but his knock went in vain as his side Telefunken Club (Blue) lost to Uday Bhan Cricket Academy by three wickets to enter the quarter final of the 3rd Shalimar U-19 cricket tournament at Picnic Hut ground in Ashok Vihar. For the winners,Sudip Das (36 run and 3/39) was the stand out performer while Devender Yadav (3/30),Deepak Rai (42 n.o) and Rahul Dagar (36 n.o) were the other contributors.

In another match at the same ground,Rajesh Sharma produced a fine all round display (74 runs and 3/35) and his effort along with those by Digvijay Sehrawat (58) and Milind Tandon (3/42) helped Friends Club beat Airliner Academy by 45 runs to enter in quarter finals of the Shalimar U-19 cricket tournament.
