Gowda said his party was not in a hurry, adding that it would take a decision 8220;one day before this floor test8221;. However, Kumaraswamy said the party would not hesitate to support a secular combination at the Centre.

8226;JHARKHAND MUKTI MORCHA: Asked if his party would back the Manmohan Singh government, UPA ally and JMM leader Shibu Soren replied, 8220;sochenge8221;. The party has called a meeting on July 11 to take stock of the emerging political scenario. 8220;We will study the pros and cons of the nuclear deal and then decide what stand we should take,8221; said JMM vice-president Hem Lal Murmu. Insiders say Soren would back the UPA Government on the floor of the House, but not without sealing his own deal.

8226;RASHTRIYA LOK DAL: At a time when Congress managers are counting each and every MP, the Ajit Singh-led RLD with three MPs is keeping its cards close to its chest, although it has clearly voiced its support to the n-deal. 8220;When elections would be held and what kind of alliances would be formed is the main issue before us. We are assessing the situation and would take a decision in the interest of the party,8221; said Singh, indicating clearly that he was resorting to hard bargaining before committing the letter of support.

8226;RASHTRIYA JANATA DAL: Reiterating that the UPA Government had the numbers, Railways Minister and RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav maintained that it was 8220;not the end of the road8221; with the Left parties withdrawing. 8220;We have enough support. Mulayam Singh is with us8230; we will return to power,8221; he said.

8226;TRINAMOOL CONGRESS: Mamata Banerjee said her party has not yet decided on supporting the UPA Government. On whether she would tie up with the NDA in case a no-confidence motion was moved, she said the Trinamool Congress was maintaining equidistance from both the Congress and the BJP.
