Dr Mohan Agashe,Actor
While I wasnt directly associated with him I have been an ardent admirer of his poems. He had this very unique ability of being able to portray the finest of human emotions in the right words. So much so that they bordered on a philosophical note that always compelled those who read them to pause and think. While he was a great poet by profession he also was a wonderful human being at heart. To sum it up all i can say is he was a person who could express maximum human emotions in the minimum number of words.

I remember I met him around 20 years back to discuss some illustration work for the poems that he had written especially for children. His style of poem presentation was a class apart. Besides being a great poet,he was also a very good human being. Though he was a poet by profession but he had a refined taste for other forms of art; be it drama, music or painting. Amongst his several works,Rani Cha Baug is my personal favourite. It was a poem for children with good and appropriate illustrations.
Dr DB Kulkarni,Critic and writer
Inspite of not having any personal association when I was elected president of the Marathi Sahitya Sammelan,he called me to congratulate and assured me that he would personally be present for the inauguration and read out his poems. An essayist, critic and translator Karandikar as a literary genius expressed the Marxist that he was as a thinker not activist.I had known the essence of his personality since the age of 15 through his literary works. His poetry did no remain in the books but traveled to the villages as he read out to the people. His unexpected
is a shock for Marathi literature and to all those like me who love each and every word that Vinda composed
