THE India Art Festival (IAF) — which brings together major art galleries and individual artists from across the world — is back in the city with its third edition on from

December 19 to 22,at the Nehru Centre,Worli. The art fair boasts of participation by 35 art galleries across the country and over 300 individual artists. A series of discussions titled ‘IAF Conversations’ moderated by art critic Ranjit Hoskote will be held on December 20 and 21 as part of the festival. The panel will discuss the process by which young artists can be groomed and mentored. The two-day conference will invite executive director of the Indian Foundation for the Arts Arundhati Ghosh,Bangalore; Mumbai-based gallerist and director of Chatterjee & Lal,Mortimer Chatterjee; and film director and producer Kiran Rao among others for the discussion.
