The flight from Hyderabad to Pune was delayed by an hour after a swarm of bees attacked the aircraft. The plane with 65 passengers could not move even after all passengers had boarded since the windscreen of the aircraft was covered with bees, forcing the pilot to just wait till they cleared out.

The captain had to make an emergency landing of the flight, which had 127 passengers and crew members, at Istanbul’s Ataturk Airport, after the plane’s windscreen had cracked because of a hailstorm. The jet was severely damaged, and the nosecone was almost torn off.
