Simi claims 4th leg

Simi Mehra played another excellent round of 2 under 70 to win the 4th leg of the DLF Women's Professional Golf Tour with a three day total of 4 under 212, a clear 29 shots ahead of her nearest rival.

Simi Mehra played another excellent round of 2 under 70 to win the 4th leg of the DLF Women8217;s Professional Golf Tour with a three day total of 4 under 212, a clear 29 shots ahead of her nearest rival.

Simi8217;s round consisted of birdies on the 2nd, 8th, 13th, 14th and 18th holes with bogeys on the 10th, 11th and 15th holes. Simi hit 13 greens in regulation and had 29 putts.

Finishing in second position is Kolkata8217;s Vandana Agarwal, who is a rookie on the Tour with a three day total of 241 followed closely by Nalini Singh who finished third at 242 for the tournament. Playing in the leader group, Sharmila Nicollet maintained display of excellent golf as she returned a card of 1 over 73 to take her three day total to 4 over 220, beating Shweta Galande by 13 shots to win the Amateur Category.
