Varun Dhawan has been at the receiving end of intense online trolling and criticism since the launch of the song “Ghar Kab Aaoge”, from his upcoming film Border 2, with several social media users targeting his smiling expressions. Numerous reels and memes have surfaced, and some netizens have even questioned his acting ability. Amid the ongoing backlash, Varun has finally addressed the issue. Speaking to the media at an event, the actor shared his perspective on dealing with online noise.
In a video shared on Reddit, Varun can be heard saying: “I believe you should shut out the noise and let your work do the talking. All these things keep happening, and they don’t really matter, I don’t work for that. What I work for will be known on Friday. And eventually, I trust Border 2; it is very important to make a good film. Obviously, I have nothing to do with the numbers, but I believe we have made a good film.”
