Jaya man held for assaulting TN ministerCHENNAI: AIADMK MLA R Tamaraikani was arrested on Monday for assaulting Agriculture Minister Veerapandi S Arumugam inside the State Assembly. The fiery legislator was taken into custody by the police at a private hospital in the evening, based on an arrest warrant issued by Assembly Speaker P T R Palanivel Rajan, for his angry swipe with his hand that left a bleeding injury on the nose of Arumugam.
