The Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) have announced the release of application status for the Non-Technical Popular Categories (NTPC) Graduate level recruitment under CEN 06/2025. The recruitment drive aims to fill 5,810 vacancies across various posts.
Applicants can check whether their submissions have been provisionally accepted, conditionally accepted, or rejected. The detailed status is available on the official portal rrbapply.gov.in, where candidates must log in using their registered credentials.
The RRB has clarified:
–Provisionally accepted applications are cleared for the next stage.
–Conditionally accepted applications require compliance with specified conditions.
–Rejected applications include detailed reasons for disqualification.
To ensure transparency, the Boards will also send SMS and email notifications to the mobile numbers and email addresses provided in the application forms. The category-wise distribution of vacancies includes 2,321 for General, 602 for EWS, 1,508 for OBC, 922 for SC, and 457 for ST.
RRB NTPC 2026: Vacancy details
Post-wise, the recruitment offers the following vacancies:
161 positions for Chief Commercial-cum-Ticket Supervisors,
615 for Station Masters,
3,416 for Goods Train Managers,
921 for Junior Accounts Assistant-cum-Typists,
628 for Senior Clerk-cum-Typists, and
59 for Traffic Assistants.
The Boards had opened the application window for the NTPC Graduate recruitment under CEN 06/2025 on October 21, 2025, and closed it on November 27, 2025, following an extension. As per the official schedule, candidates were allowed to edit or correct their forms between November 30 and December 9, 2025.
The Boards released the application status on January 20, 2026, while the examination dates will be announced separately.
In an advisory, the RRB clarified that all accepted applications remain provisional and may be cancelled at any stage if discrepancies, false information, or malpractice are detected. To assist candidates, a helpdesk is operational on weekdays from 10 am to 5 pm via phone numbers 9592-001-188 and 0172-565-3333, as well as through email at rrb.help@csc.gov.in.
The Boards further cautioned applicants to rely only on official RRB websites and warned against touts offering illegal selection advantages.
They confirmed that scrutiny of applications has been completed, reserved the right to rectify inadvertent errors, and stated that correspondence from ineligible or rejected candidates will not be entertained.
