Computer training centre for blind

PUNE, June 4: A computer training centre for the blind will be inaugurated by Gustasp Rashid, past district governor of Rotary Club of Poona, on June 10, at Ramtekdi, Hadapsar.

The project is on the lines of matching grant scheme of Rotary International. Some of the facilities available at the Centre include a Robotron text reading machine with scanner, which can be read by the computer by the blind operator or can be transferred to a Braille embossing device.
