A lower court Friday stayed the elections of the Central Club,Chandigarh after an application was moved by one of the constants Rajesh Chadha for the elections. The elections which were to be held on April 14 have been stayed till April 18.
The court has also summoned the election officer and another contestant,Vinod Khanna.

According to Mohit Sareen,counsel for Rajesh Chadha,Vinod Khanna had applied to contest the elections. However,as per athe clause of the election,a person who had held any post for two years is automatically barred from contesting.
Khanna had allegedly been the honorary secretary for two consecutive years.
