JP Duminy is one of the most experienced campaigners playing in the IPL. As a batsman, he is a player who can turn games on his own with his big hits and also has the ability to slow down the innings when needed. His right arm off spin is also very useful and all this made him a valuable player for South Africa and all the other T20 teams he has played for around the world. Injuries, though, has stopped him from reaching his true potential and it is what forced him into retirement from Test cricket in September 2017. He was an important cog in the longest format of the game for South Africa and had led them to a win against Australia with some big scores in his very first Test series.
