YouTuber claims he unknowingly sat next to Kate Winslet on a flight, played ‘My Heart Will Go On’

While he was skipping through some of her songs, he didn’t realise that his AirPods weren’t connected to his phone yet. The song ‘My Heart Will Go On’, which was a part of the 1997 blockbuster Titanic, also played on his phone for a little bit. He then noticed that the woman sitting next to him was looking at him as if he had done something wrong. Then a flight attendant came to see his boarding pass and informed him that he was seated in the wrong row.

As he got up from the seat and was apologising to the woman, he thought she looked familiar. He then realised that it was none other than Kate Winslet, the Oscar-winning actress, who played the lead role of Rose DeWitt Bukater in Titanic.

Olsen showed how he clicked a few photos of Winslet and while her face wasn’t visible, he claimed that she was wearing the same jacket that she wore at Cannes. The flight was also from Cannes to London, he claimed.

Netizens weren’t convinced that all this was an accident and said it sounded like he sat next to her knowingly as he wanted to create content.

“It sounds like you purposely sat next to her to create content,” a user wrote. “She must have been SOOO thankful that she didn’t have to sit next to you for the entire flight. She really dodged a bullet there,” said another.
