It was great to get back somewhere in the frame with what is my best score at the Delhi Golf Club, where I have played almost all my life. Or, well, at least many, many years at the DGC. I have had a six-under, but it was always on par-71 and today it was six-under on Par-71, so it was my best.
From somewhere around tied 25th, I am tied fourth. So that was indeed a moving day for me. But having done that I am still some distance from the leader, SSP Chawrasia, who seems to be in a zone of his own with another great showing, two-under 69.
He was bogey free for 52 holes, before giving up his first bogey on the 17th. So that was an amazing run on a golf course like this. And now at 12-under, he sits two clear of Siddikur, who recovered from a double bogey with a birdie on the last to control the damage and keep the gap to two shots.
SSP and Siddikur are 12-under and 10-under, while Marcus Fraser (67) was bogey free and he moved to third, while I am tied fourth with Prayad Marksaeng (69), who had a hole-in-one on the second day. As for my game, I decided a change was in order. After keeping the driver aside for two days, I decided to use it and be more aggressive than I have been so far at this Hero Indian Open.
