Water polo team fourth

NEW DELHI, June 24: An Indian senior team returned here yesterday after finishing fourth in the Pacific International Invitational Water Polo tournament at Hong Kong. As many as six teams took part in the three-day championships in which Hong Kong finished first, followd by Guangzhou and Guam. Naresh Kumar Sachdeva, a reputed swimming coach attached with the Modern School Barakhamba Road went as manager.

Team Members: Achintya Kumar Mazumdar, Biswajit Das both Bengal, Lakhbir Singh Kang, Sukhpal Singh, Harminder Singh all Punjab, Swanand Deshpande, Shailesh Bangali, Deshmukh Vilas, Ranjit Shrotriya all Maharashtra, Gautam Kathuria, Kamaljit both Delhi, Chintan Patel, Amit Patel both Gujarat.

Suzuki TT
The first Suzuki Open table tennis tournament, conducted by Delhi Table Tennis Tournament, will be held at Talkkatora Stadium from July 18 to 21. Entries close on July 13 with organising secretary Hukam Singh at 6/2543, Beadonpura, Karol Bagh; R K Sharma, manager, Talkatora Stadium; and Madhu Dwan, coach at I G Stadium.

Inter-club league
The inter-club league-cum-knockout championship for men will be held at RBI Exchange Hall from July 22 to 30.

Only clubs and institutions, affiliatd to DTTA are ntitled to participate. Entris close on July 14 with Hukam Singh.
