Aamir Khan with Narendra Modi

The newly-elected Prime Minister Narendra Modi had a surprise visitor the other day, when actor Aamir Khan walked in to meet Modi at the latter’s office in New Delhi last week. The agenda behind this meeting was the fact that Khan wanted to discuss and highlight the issues that he has showcased on his television show, Satyamev Jayate. Khan took to his Twitter account to talk about the meeting and posted, “Just came out of my meeting with Honorable Prime Minister of India Shri Narendra Modiji. Was very kind of him to spare his valuable time. Shared with him the overwhelming support that we got from people across the country through ‘Vote for Change’ campaign on SMJ (Satyamev Jayate) on the various issues that we tackled in our show. He has assured me that he will look into all the matters.”
