Ghosh interrogated for 9th time

Suspended TMC MP Kunal Ghosh appeared before the Bidhannagar police commissionerate yet again — ninth time in last two months — and submitted the copy of an email written by Sudipta Sen,the CMD of Saradha Group that went bust earlier this year.

“I forwarded the email,written by Sen on April 13,to the police. It was written by Sen to the company officials explaining several reasons behind his company going bust. But the contents of that email and that of a letter he wrote to the CBI on April 6 are different. It implies that he was forced by somebody to write the letter to the CBI,” Ghosh said.

Four days ago,Ghosh was interrogated by the Serious Fraud Investigation Office (SFIO) in Delhi where the MP is said to have submitted several documents related to the chit fund scam.
