In view of the upcoming Republic Day 2025 celebrations, flight operations at Delhi's Indira Gandhi International Airport (IGIA) will be temporarily restricted. Indira Gandhi International Airport (IGIA) is the country's busiest airport, processing around 1,300 flights every day. Given this situation, while the schedule changes are required due to security precautions for the Republic Day celebrations, it might impact arrivals and departures during specified times. The Delhi International Airport Limited (DIAL) declared on Saturday that no planes would land or take off beginning January 19, 2025 (Sunday), and ending January 26, 2025 (Sunday). It also stated that there will be no flights arriving or departing between 10:20 a.m. and 12:45 p.m. DIAL, in its recent post on X, stated, "As per the NOTAM (Notice to Airmen) issued for Republic Day week from 19th to 26th Jan 2025, no flights would be arriving or departing from Delhi Airport between 10:20 AM and 12:45 PM IST."
