Gaurav Khanna’s journey on Bigg Boss 19 was about dignity and grace. He proved that a controversial show like Bigg Boss can also be played without creating controversies. Recently, at the Bigg Boss 19 press conference, the actor had spoken about the same and said, “No Bigg Boss winner has ever created or gotten involved in unnecessary arguments. It’s not necessary to use abusive language; previous winners haven’t done that. If I win this show with support and love from the audience, it will be an inspiration that, without verbally abusing or taking a wrong stand, one can become a winner on a show called Bigg Boss.”

One of the standout moments of Gaurav’s journey was winning host Salman Khan’s admiration for his gameplay. In one of the weekend episodes, Salman praised Gaurav and even remarked that he would like to work with him in the future.

Ahead of entering the show, Gaurav Khanna had told SCREEN, “I always have butterflies before I start anything new. That newcomer in me is still alive, and that is what gives me the thrill to do something new. It’s a very big show. It’s very different. A lot of people asked me, ‘Why do you want to do this at this point in your career?’ But I’ve always chosen to think outside the box. I was a corporate professional working in an IT firm with an MBA in marketing, and I became an actor by taking that unconventional path. That’s how I’ve approached my life and career so far. I’m doing this show for myself, to challenge who I am and see what kind of person I come out as after the experience.”
