In the viral video shared by @aviationnews___, the pigeon can be seen flying inside the aircraft, above passengers’ heads, looking for a way out. It continued to fly even as crew members and a few passengers attempted to get hold of it.

The video quickly caught the Internet’s attention, amassing a range of reactions. “Even pigeon is annoyed with delay,” a user wrote. “This is 100% normal as the doors of the flight are open before departures so bird. can easily fly in you can’t stop the bird to enter a plane. You ppl need to thank god that this bird didn’t hit your plane while flying. take some chill pill,” another user commented.

“Someone’s cast a spell on IndiGo,” a third user reacted.

Meanwhile, share prices of Interglobe Aviation, the company that owns IndiGo Airlines, fell by 7.5 per cent on Monday amid the flight cancellations.

The airline cancelled more than 400 flights from four major airports on Saturday. The Delhi Airport Authority, on its X handle, posted an advisory at 10.15 am on Saturday, informing that while flight operations are now ‘steadily resuming and getting back to normalcy,’ some IndiGo flights continue to be affected. It also advised passengers to check the latest flight status before arriving at the airport.
