The best advice I got8230;
Not to undermine myself 8211; someone told me that I8217;m a better entrepreneur than I know I am.
The defining moment
When Santhan,one of the founding partners at Deep Red Ink,said 8220;Whatever you do,I wish that we do it together8221;. We then went on to merge one of my start-ups with Deep Red Ink and started doing larger things together.
What keeps me awake at night
We are growing in several ways and we have more work than we can sometimes handle. But if we enjoy the journey,we are bound to end up at the right destination!
I thought I would give up
As a 21-year old management consultant,it was extremely difficult for me to hire a team that would enable me to scale-up my first start-up. I thought hard about quitting the management but decided to persist and give it more time. And ultimately I went on to meet a team that I am extremely excited to be working with.
My word of advice for others8230;
Entrepreneurship is not about business,about markets,about ideas nor about being a billionaire. Its about living your highest potential 8211; a life in which you follow your heart. Before you pay attention to finance,market size,product design,business model,pay attention to what you do best. Before you begin to guess what the market may accept,look for what you are passionate about doing. When you honour your calling,the start-up will emerge from there
