Pakistan should negotiate with the Taliban to tackle terrorism,former premier Nawaz Sharif said. If Washington is prepared to talk to the Taliban 8230;then a similar initiative should also come from Islamabad, said Sharif,chief of PML-N.

Sunni group demands ministers resignation

Outraged by the suicide attack on the Sufi shrine of Data Darbar,a Pakistani religious group demanded sacking of Punjab Law Minister Rana Sanaullah for his links with banned Sipah-e-Sahaba. Leaders of the Sunni Ittehad Council said they would not cooperate with the Punjab government till Sanaullah sacked.
