At the last Cabinet meeting, Rural Development Minister Raghuvansh Prasad Singh found it hard to get Finance Minister P Chidambaram to answer some of his reservations on a sanitation scheme that the RJD leader was keen the PM announce on Independence Day. He succeeded, but only after an intervention by RJD supremo Lalu Prasad, who stood up to disarmingly comment: 8220;Language disconnect lagta hai.8221; Suddenly, a bunch of other ministers came to Singh8217;s aid and things got sorted out.
