January 21: Last year8217;s finalists Sydenham bulldozed into the fourth round of the men8217;s team event of the Bombay University8217;s Inter-Collegiate badminton championship in progress at the University Pavilion here.

They trounced Somaiyya Engineering 3-0 in the third round today to make the last eight stage.

MK Sanghvi, Mithibai, Somaiya Arts MLDC, Joshi Bedekar, Elphinstone, Ismail Yusuf and NM COmmerce were the other teams advancing into the fourth round with emphatic victories.

The women8217;s team event gets under way tomorrow.
