According to industry tracker Sacnilk, the film collected Rs 6.6 crore on day 4, taking the total domestic box office collection to Rs 114.6 crore. Its worldwide gross currently stands at Rs 201 crore, as per the makers.

Meanwhile, The Raja Saab registered an overall occupancy of 7.36 per cent in Hindi and 12.92 per cent in Tamil.
At the Telugu box office, Chiranjeevi-starrer Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu is giving The Raja Saab tough competition for screens and audiences. The Prabhas film is set to face further competition from Ravi Teja’s Bhartha Mahasayulaku Wignyapthi and Naveen Polishetty’s Anaganaga Oka Raju, which are slated to release on January 13 and January 14, respectively.
Amid its box-office run, the film has also drawn mixed reviews from critics. An excerpt from SCREEN’s review of The Raja Saab read, “At about two-thirds into Maruthi’s latest film, you feel that the writer-director is onto something quite sophisticated. The Raja Saab is a film whose potential goes grossly unrealised because of an oversight, one that ignores its novelty until very late, as well as a sloppy, outdated approach that simply seems lost from start to finish. The film takes on a fairly complex subject matter, but it could have easily afforded itself clarity and coherence had the intent been well-defined.”
Directed by Maruthi and produced by People Media Factory, The Raja Saab also features Sanjay Dutt, Malavika Mohanan, Nidhhi Agerwal, Boman Irani, and Riddhi Kumar in pivotal roles.

But now, I am being trolled badly. Nature is watching everything, and it will take care of everyone. A day will come when those who troll others will realise what they’ve done. This isn’t a curse—I’m just feeling sad.”

Despite stiff competition from Chiranjeevi-Nayanthara's Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu and Ravi Teja's Bhartha Mahasayulaku Wignyapthi, director Maruthi's Prabhas-starrer The Raja Saab is still holding strong and has collected Rs 85 lakh on Tuesday thus far. The horror comedy continues to trend on the online entertainment ticketing platform BookMyShow and has sold over 4,540 tickets in the last hour.
After witnessing a slow start, director Maruthi's horror comedy, The Raja Saab, starring Prabhas in the lead role, has finally picked up momentum and is slowly inching towards the Rs 1 crore mark in terms of daily collection. As of 1 pm on Tuesday, the movie has registered an India nett collection of Rs 85 lakh, bringing its domestic total to Rs 115.45 crore.
For the Telugu film industry, which struggled quite a bit last year with no strong blockbusters, director Maruthi's Prabhas-starrer The Raja Saab has offered a respite. The movie has already grossed Rs 201 crore worldwide, although it's still far away from the break-even point.
But is the movie any good? A part of SCREEN's review reads, "At about two-thirds into Maruthi’s latest film, you feel that the writer-director is onto something quite sophisticated. Raju, the protagonist (Prabhas), is facing off against Kanakaraju, the antagonist (Sanjay Dutt), in a clash that is as epic as it could be, but the catch is that the two are barely in the same room at the same time. A game of minds is the chosen method for Maruthi’s saga, which, incidentally, is unfolding between a grandfather and his grandson."
Despite opening to negative reviews from all quarters, director Maruthi's Prabhas-starrer The Raja Saab is still storming ahead globally and has finally crossed the Rs 200 crore mark. The makers of the movie have announced that the horror-comedy grossed Rs 201 crore in four days.
Following a disappointing Monday, when it witnessed a 65.45 per cent dip in earnings compared to Sunday (Rs 19.1 crore) and minted just Rs 6.6 crore domestically, director Maruthi's Prabhas-starrer The Raja Saab is struggling on Tuesday as well. As of 12 pm, the horror comedy has managed to record an India nett collection of only Rs 54 lakh, according to industry tracker Sacnilk.
The ongoing underperformance of The Raja Saab seems to have fortified widespread criticism and the belief that Prabhas' stardom is fast declining. Unlike his last film, Kalki 2898 AD (2024), which opened at Rs 95.3 crore, The Raja Saab managed to mint only Rs 53.75 crore on its first day (Rs 62.9 crore including premiere shows). Even his Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire (2023) had garnered Rs 90.7 crore on its debut day, hinting that the actor's box office dominance is dipping.
Despite negative reviews, director Maruthi's Prabhas-starrer The Raja Saab is still performing decently at the box office. The horror comedy is trending on the online entertainment ticketing platform BookMyShow and has sold over 4,280 tickets in the last hour.
In a massive achievement, the makers of The Raja Saab have announced that director Maruthi's Prabhas-starrer has managed to sell over 1.7 million tickets on the online entertainment ticketing platform BookMyShow. The movie has collected over Rs 183 crore worldwide thus far.
Director Maruthi's Prabhas-starrer The Raja Saab is currently struggling at the box office, unable to earn even Rs 50 lakh on Tuesday, January 13, despite less than an hour remaining for noon. As of 11 am, the horror comedy has earned only Rs 38 lakh, bringing its total India nett collection thus far to Rs 114.98 crore.
Despite opening to unfavourable reactions and facing stiff competition from director Anil Ravipudi's 'Megastar' Chiranjeevi-starrer Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu, Prabhas' The Raja Saab has managed to register decent business in North America. The horror comedy has grossed over $2.2 million (Rs 19.85 crore) thus far.
Although director Maruthi's Prabhas-starrer, The Raja Saab, has grossed over Rs 183 crore worldwide in three days, according to its makers, it remains to be seen if the movie will reach the break-even point at the box office. After receiving negative reviews, the film's collection has been dipping day by day. Mounted on a reported budget of Rs 300 crore, the Prabhas-starrer must apparently gross over Rs 400 crore worldwide to be considered a hit.
Tearing into The Raja Saab star Prabhas, one moviegoer wrote on X (formerly Twitter), "Earlier, directors were blamed, not an ageing star. Prabhas should now stop doing hero roles. His face doesn't suit it. He should now strive for character roles. I am afraid he would bring down Spirit with him. I am already feeling sorry for Sandeep Reddy Vanga."
After a disappointing Monday, director Maruthi's Prabhas-starrer The Raja Saab is struggling to make a comeback on Tuesday as well. As of 10 am on Tuesday, the movie has managed to register an India nett collection of just Rs 19 lakh.
After receiving backlash from all quarters, director Maruthi's horror-comedy The Raja Saab underwent some re-editing recently. The makers reportedly announced that new footage, including scenes featuring Prabhas in an older look, has been added to the film. Now, a fan has taken to social media to claim that this version is much better than the earlier one.
"Bro, what the hell was that...!! Today I watched Raja Saab for the 5th time and this version is absolutely mind-blowing. Maruthi garu, why didn't you release this cut on the first day itself? This would've got unanimous HIT talk from Day 1. Perfect edit, no lag and superbly done. And guys... Thaman garu at the climax 😭🔥. That Sahasra Chakra BGM literally gave me goosebumps. Rebels, please go watch it again in your nearby theatres. This version deserves the madness," the fan wrote on X (formerly Twitter).
After an unfortunate Monday, when it minted Rs 6.6 crore, marking a 65.45 per cent dip in collections compared to Sunday, director Maruthi's Prabhas-starrer The Raja Saab is struggling to pick up pace on Tuesday as well. As of 9 am on Tuesday, the movie has managed to earn only Rs 6 lakh, bringing its total domestic earnings to Rs 114.66 crore. It remains to be seen if the movie's performance will improve as the day unfolds and normal screenings begin.
Although The Raja Saab's Monday performance isn't deplorable, its earnings are significantly lower than what it registered during the first three days. The movie opened on Friday at Rs 53.75 crore after earning Rs 9.15 crore from paid premieres on Thursday. While the horror comedy collected Rs 26 crore on Saturday, on Sunday, it registered an India nett collection of Rs 19.1 crore. With its earnings dipping to just above Rs 6 crore on the fourth day, the movie's future remains bleak.
The repercussions of the negative reviews it has been receiving since opening day seem to have finally caught up to director Maruthi's Prabhas-starrer The Raja Saab, as the movie witnessed a steep decline in its collection on Monday, January 12. Marking a significant 67.07 per cent dip in revenue, the horror-comedy registered an India nett collection of Rs 6.29 crore during the day, according to rough data from industry tracker Sacnilk. This marks a major fall for Prabhas' movie, which debuted at Rs 53.75 crore in the domestic market.
