NEW DELHI, August 19: Indian Navy registered their second victory defeating Army Green by a solitary goal on the second day of the 51st Inter-Services Football Championship at the 11 GRRC ground in Lucknow this morning.

Last evening, Indian Navy had defeated Indian Air Force 2-1.

The Indian Navy and Army Green match was a closely-contested one. Both the teams made some good moves but failed to score any goal. The match-winning goal was scored by X Fernandes in the 64th minute of the game.

Last evening, Indian Navy had fought hard to beat Indian Air Force 2-1. Air Force took the lead in the 33rd minute through S.K.A Hossen off a pass from A Das.

After the breather, Indian Navy put pressure on their opponents and as a result got the equaliser through A Milton. A.K.Solanky scored the winning-goal off a pass from V K Mishra.
