Cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal and actress Dhanashree Verma got divorced in March 2025. While the couple mutually parted ways, they have spoken about the decision publicly on several occasions. The end of their marriage was acrimonious with the couple managing to remain in the news for their comments on each other. Now, reports say that Dhanashree and Yuzvendra might come face-to-face once again on a reality show. As per reports, they were supposedly participating in Farah Khan’s upcoming captive reality show, The 50. Soon after this news gained momentum, Yuzvendra took to social media, denying any such collaboration or professional commitment.

The cricketer’s team issued a statement on social media, which Yuzvendra also reshared on his Instagram stories. The statement read, “There is no truth to the reports currently circulating about Yuzvendra Chahal’s participation in any reality show. These claims are speculative and incorrect. Yuzvendra is not associated with the show mentioned in recent reports, and there are no discussions or commitments of this nature. We request media platforms and social media users to refrain from spreading unverified information.”

Dhanashree Verma, who last participated in Rise and Fall, has not commented on her participation in the show either.

While their separation and divorce grabbed a lot of attention in the public eye, Dhanashree spoke about her ex-husband while she was on the reality show, Rise and Fall. “This entire chatter and gossip about my divorce is all made up. I have left behind this chapter of my life. People will always keep spreading wrong stories, but what you feel on the inside is important and true. I had to constantly explain myself all the time. They will spread such rubbish about me. He is scared that I will open my mouth, and all of this is being done to shut me up. If I tell you the true details of what happened, this show will seem like peanuts to you.” Dhanashree had also dismissed rumours about taking Rs 4 crores in alimony from Yuzvendra while she was on the show.

While Farah Khan’s The 50 is said to be bringing back 50 strong contestants from various reality shows under one roof, the show is expected to go live on 1st February. In the show’s first promo, host Farah Khan hinted at breaking the monotony of captive reality shows with this one and stated that The 50 will ‘shake things up’. The 50 will stream on Jio Hotstar.
