Varsity clerk killed in mishap
A university peon who was also accompanying them fractured his leg, but is reportedly in a stable condition.The trio were travelling in a Maruti van, and the road mishap reportedly occurred at noon, said the Kalamboli police. The name of the clerk is Pramod Pawar, while that of the private driver is Shedge. Vice-Chancellor Dr Snehalata Deshmukh rushed to the spot on learning about the accident.
She said that as per the rules, and considering the family status wife is SSC failed and two young children, the varsity has announced a total compensation of Rs 1 lakh to Pawar8217;s family.
