MUMBAI, Aug 5: Hot favourite Bold Invader, ridden by R Gowli, won the Orange William Cup, the main event of the 6ht Day of Calcutta Monsoon Meeting held on Wednesday.The winner, owned by Dhunibhoy and Ramesh M Thakur was trained by Bath. D-David. Arcade R Gowli up won the Douetil Memorial Cup, the suppoting event.Trainer D David and Bath scored a double. Jockey R Gowli excelled in the saddle to steer home a grand quartet Brave Show, Arcade, Floral Path and Bold Invader.

It was a field day for punters with five favourites winning in a card of seven evens.
