It's a boy for Aamir Khan and wife Kiran Rao. In what turns out to be the best-kept secret of the year,the couple announced the happy news to the near and dear ones with personal notes. The baby boy,born through surrogacy,was born on December 1 in a private clinic in Mumbai. It gives us the greatest joy to share with you the good news of the birth of our baby boy. This baby is especially dear to us because he was born to us after a long wait and some difficulty, they write. In August 2009,the couple suffered a personal set back when Kiran had a miscarriage. Aamir had disclosed the news on his personal blog Despite our best efforts we were unable to avert a miscarriage. The last two months have been a struggle for us, said Aamir who has a son and daughter Junaid and Ira,with his first wife Reena. This time too,the couple is equally upfront about the delivery of their newborn via surrogacy. Due to medical complications,we were advised to have a baby through IVF-surrogacy,and we feel very grateful to the Almighty that all has gone well, they tell us.
