Randeep Hooda, Lin Laishram announce pregnancy on second wedding anniversary: ‘Little wild one on the way’

Randeep Hooda and Lin Laishram took to social media on Saturday to announce their pregnancy. The day also marks their second wedding anniversary. They shared a warm picture and wrote in the caption, “Two years of love, adventure, and now… a little wild one on the way.”

Fans were thrilled by the surprise announcement, flooding the comments with congratulatory messages and well-wishes. One user wrote, “Happy for you both. God Bless.” Another said, “New chapter is going to be beautiful. Congratulations.” Actress Geetika Vidya Ohlyan also expressed her excitement, commenting, “Whattttt?” To which Lin replied, “Thank you for your love.”

For those unfamiliar with their story, Randeep and Lin first crossed paths at Motley, Naseeruddin Shah’s theatre group, and gradually fell in love. The couple reportedly moved in together during the lockdown and made their relationship Instagram official in 2022. Earlier this year, Randeep told Curly Tales, “Covid-19 brought us together even more. During Covid, she made me so many dishes. I went crazy. I am not even a foodie.”

He also admitted that both he and his family had given up on marriage plans before he met Lin. “Everybody had given up on my marriage plans. I did too,” he said, adding, “It has been a great decision to get married to her. She has calmed me down. I eat healthier. I have better hours. I don’t stay up all night. The time I used to sleep is now my wake-up time.”

Randeep and Lin tied the knot in a traditional Manipuri Meitei wedding in Lin’s home state of Manipur in November 2023. On the professional front, Randeep was last seen in the movie Jaat, co-starring Sunny Deol, and is currently filming the American adventure-actioner Matchbox, which also stars John Cena.
