Delhi golfer Rashid Khan’s team of D Chandrashekhar,KV Rajagopal Reddy and Sumit Rathor failed to set the course on fire,managing a score of 55 to finish to finish a disappointing third in the Pro-Am event of the Louis Philippe Cup in Bangalore. The event saw amateur golfers from the city compete alongside some of the top Indian professionals and was played in the modified scramble format,with the team’s best net score on each hole counting towards the team score. Vijay Kumar led his team of C Jayaram Puravankara,Umesh Dubey and Raju Shahani to victory with a score of 52 while Anirban Lahiri’s team of S Chikkarangappa,Charu Sharma and V Madhu were second with 53.
