Delhi eves prosper
* Delhi scored a 4-0 fluent victory over Pondicherry in cluster-II preliminary league match of the 7th Girls Sub-Junior National Football Championship-2010 being held at Haldwani in Uttrakhand. At the break Delhi led 2-0. Delhi were ahead 2-0 through Aarushi Nayyar,who scored a brace. On changing ends,medio Jaya Bhatia increased lead 3-0 in 39th minute while Tanya Minocha completed tally 4-0 in 45th minute. Delhi,in its opening match,were beaten by Sikkim 0-1 on August 21.

DPS boys and girls win
* In the ongoing Delhi School League,DPS (Mathura Road) Girls defeated Sachdeva Public School 19-45,with Neha scoring 29 (DPS). Sachdeva Public School Boys lost to DPS (Mathura Road) Boys 30-55 Bhavya 11 (Sachdeva),Roopinder 12,Ramit 11 (DPS). New Green Field School Boys lost to Army Public School Boys 49-62 with Akash (18),Gagan 16 (NGF),and Vivek and Shivendar from APS scored 16 and 11.
