Sports complex claim title

Sports Complex,Sector 7 emerged as the winner with a narrow 26-25 win over Government Model Senior Secondary School,Sector 19 in the boys’ category in the final of the Chandigarh Sub Junior State Netball Championship which concluded on Saturday. In the match for third place,KB DAV School,Sector 7 ended the challenge of Government Model Senior Secondary School,Sector 4 with a narrow 20 1-8 win. Earlier in the semi-final stage,Sports Complex,Sector 7 ended the challenge of KB DAV Public School,Sector 7 with a 22-16 win. In another semi-final encounter,Government Model Senior Secondary School,Sector 19 defeated Government Senior Secondary School,Sector 47 by 19-15.

In the girls’ category,Sacred Hear School,Sector 26 emerged as the winners in the final with a 11-10 win over Government Model Senior Secondary School,Sector 19. In the third place match,Government Model High School,Sector 28 ended the challenge of Government Model High School,Manimajra with a 17-13 win.

Earlier in the semi-final stage,Government Model Senior Secondary School,Sector 19 defeated Government Model high School,Manimajra with a margin of 12-6 while Sacred Heart School,Sector 26 defeated Government Model High School,Sector 28 with a margin of 8-5.
