Mehak Singh of Chandigarh rallied into the main round with an easy 8-0 win over Taruka Shrivastava in the women’s final qualifying round of the AITA Ranking Tournament being played at CLTA courts on Sunday. In another match in the same category,Amreen Chaudhary ended the challenge of Monica Sangani of Gujarat with an 8-3 win while Natasha Palla of Goa also stormed into the final round with an 8-5 win over second seed Arushi Sharma of Delhi. In the men’s category,Sameer Pranjpe of Maharashtra stormed into the main round with an 8-6 win over Sagar Ahuja while in another encounter Gurinder Singh of Chandigarh ended the challenge of neishit Vakil with a 8-4 win.
