Compared to 2019 polls, 50,000 more voted in Maval, but percentage still slipped

In 2019 elections, Maval seat had recorded 59.87 per cent polling. In this election, Maval has registered 54.87 per cent polling, which is five per cent less, figures released by the election office have revealed.

In the 2014 Lok Sabha elections, Maval had registered 60.54 per cent polling while Shirur had registered 59.77 per cent polling. Pune and Baramati, the other two constituencies in Pune district, went to polls on April 23.
