Dileshwar Kamait is a political leader from Bihar and a member of Janata Dal United. He is the incumbent Member of the Parliament from Bihar’s Supaul Lok Sabha seat.
He began his career as an Indian Railways employee and worked his way up to Group A Officer. He gained administrative expertise, leadership abilities, and a comprehension of public service from this experience. Furthermore, his participation in labour union activities at the Railways implies a dedication to workers' rights and advocacy.
After he joined the Janata Dal United, he made his first entry into active politics. From Supaul, he ran for the Lok Sabha in 2014, however he lost. But in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, his discipline and tenacity paid off as he easily defeated his closest opponent.
